Job Description

Xesturgy Media is searching for a new team member that is: creative, independent, competitive, and overall hungry for something more. We are a young and fast-growing performance-based marketing company located in Dallas, Texas that currently specializes in collecting and monetizing our own push traffic source (all in-house), and buying on Pops, Social Media, and Native ad platforms. 

The Digital Media Buyer will be responsible for creating and managing performance-based marketing campaigns on an assortment of traffic sources.  

The role of this position is dynamic and can be tailored to suit your strengths. Being a fast paced environment, the person that is flexible and can adapt quickly, will ultimately reap the biggest rewards. Availability “after hours” is crucial to a Media Buyer’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Buy traffic on CPA, CPM, and CPC pricing models to back into our CPA goals.
  • Plan, manage, and execute media buys across a variety of ad platforms for multiple offers/verticals.
  • Communicate campaign performance to team, including reporting and analytics
  • Grow relationships with clients/partners, gather insights into their business model and help provide innovative solutions to meet our/their marketing goals
  • Constantly work on split (A/B) tests to identify high performing strategies/creatives and incorporate these learnings into future campaigns
  • Learn and experiment with new strategies to optimize bids, ad placement, and management techniques.
  • Help brainstorm growth opportunities and best practices with team
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

 

Job Requirements

PREFERRED:

  • 1 year of experience buying and optimizing performance-based marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using tracking platforms to help optimize campaigns (we use Voluum).
  • Growing relationships with and working with direct Advertisers, Affiliate networks, and traffic source ad reps.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc)
  • Openness to learning new strategies and growing new skillsets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and maintaining focus.
  • Must have grit and an analytical mindset
  • Ability to commute daily to office in Uptown, Dallas 
  • Knowledge in creating advertorials/landing pages in HTML
  • Any additional coding skills.
