What You Will Do

As a Specialist, Marketing and Communications with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to initiate, plan and coordinate marketing and/or public relation functions for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and manages marketing materials for events, programs, and screenings sponsored by the organization.
  • Coordinates and distributes content for marketing and advertising materials.
  • Oversees the logistics and production of marketing materials, campaigns and special projects.
  • Organizes events and delivers event and marketing materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of communications, marketing and/or project plans.
  • Coordinates planning and execution of marketing tactics to ensure effective and timely completion.
  • Creates and schedules social media posts to support local healthcare growth goals.
  • Executes direct-to-consumer direct mail and email marketing campaigns based on growth targets and market segmentation.
  • Implements tactics that align with brand voice and “key messages'.
  • Ensures communication and marketing outputs are consistent, accurate and appropriate.
  • Provides oversight of locally generated marketing collateral.
  • Supports internal clients with training of collateral template projects.
  • Provides marketing account management to service line leads.
  • Supports web content generation
  • Provides ad management and creative allocation support.

Job Requirements

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or public relations preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience in marketing and/or communications in a specialty area such as branding and marketing, internal communications, public & media relations and/or digital communications required.
  • Understanding of computer systems and project management practices preferred.
