Job Description

Marketing Project Manager to manage the implementation of digital advertising executions that support the defined brand strategy. This person will be responsible for planning, managing and executing projects related to marketing campaigns. They will identify all the tasks that need to be completed within an assigned marketing project and then delegate those tasks to the appropriate team members, setting due dates, allocating hours, communicating between the client, and creative team to get work completed at a satisfactory level.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Effectively assign, delegate, coordinate, and monitor the work of agency staff members assigned to client projects
  • Demonstrate expertise in all phases of both interactive and print project lifecycles
  • Analyze and prioritize project activities and stakeholder needs, while establishing attainable deadlines
  • Achieve consensus among diverse and dissenting viewpoints, while effectively translating ideas into prioritized and actionable steps
  • Outline expectations of, and communicate effectively with, agency team members
  • Create project status reports, milestone and deliverable progress materials for stakeholders
  • Manage internal team workflow and task assignments
  • Collaborate with teams of designers, copywriters, and developers to problem solve and execute project challenges while delivering high quality on time and on budget work
  • Provide weekly status reports to the manager, customers, and team members
  • Document, manage, and ensure efficient workflows within the department
  • Champion the assessment and evolution of the department’s workflow, streamlining the management of traffic/production and operation

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a project manager in a marketing department running both print and interactive projects
  • High level of prioritization skills to arrange and assign tasks in a manner that is most efficient
  • Experience with Wrike preferred
  • Experience with JIRA preferred
  • Attention to detail to capture and relay instructions for work that needs to be completed and confirm that requested changes are made to print and digital media
  • Have a “can-do” attitude that fosters a positive and productive working environment, especially in stressful or pressured situations
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and provide hands-on troubleshooting and best available solutions
  • Balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident demeanor
