Full time Social Media

Job Description

Who we are:

We’re a tight-knit team in NY backed by the support of a global agency. We’re into giant conceptual thinking as much as we are finely crafted deliverables, thought and re-thought and then filtered through strategy and the power of data.

You’ll like it here if you’re more interested in collaborating with the world around you than forcing it to bend to your will. We’re small enough that you have to act, have ideas, and make things. Though not required, it also helps if you can dance, or at least tell a good joke.

Who we are looking for:

POSSIBLE is looking for a contract Social Media Strategist. Providing strategic recommendations around how and when the brand should join conversations will be your main responsibility. Working directly with the brand’s in-house social media team, this role is extremely client-facing and requires superior communication and management skills.

You will be expected to make real-time decisions regarding whether or not social media conversations should be escalated to the client and, if so, provide a strategic POV for how to engage. You will also work with the community management team to deliver campaign reports and insights. We are looking for smart, engaging personalities who can think both strategically and creatively, but also bring a social media expertise to this growing team.

This is a contract opportunity in our New York office.

What you’ll do:

  • Own all day-to-day client social media related communications with the client and lead a team of community managers.
  • Strategically shape a positive and productive social experience for our client’s consumers.
  • Create quickfire responses to engage with influencers and other notable moments in a timely manner.
  • Report monthly statistics on community performance.
  • Develop and communicate POSSIBLE’s point-of-view on leading edge topics in social, as internal and external thought leadership, and in contribution to client work.

Job Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • 2-3 years of experience, including 2+ working in social media, ideally in a strategic role (not just community management or social production) or client services on a social team.
  • Client-facing agency experience is a must; social strategy and implementation experience with a major B2C brand is highly desirable.
  • Ability to independently manage client initiatives and campaigns.
  • Ability to Integrate with Account, Creative, Development, Strategy, and Marketing Sciences teams.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely detailed oriented and ability to multi-task effectively.
