ABB seeking a Digital Strategy Manager for its Raleigh, NC location. This role is responsible for Generating and publishing content online that supports EL business growth in the U.S. and the U.S. Country strategy. As the digital strategy manager, this person is responsible for the flow of online traffic across ABB digital properties including the website, social channels, online paid advertising, and search engine optimization. The individual will work with multiple stakeholders (Corporate, Business leads, Marketing, Media, Government Relations, and Branding) to develop content and produce a strategic outcome for ABB.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop ABB’s United States digital marketing plans to strategically grow the reach and engagement of ABB stakeholders online including company website, social media channels, paid digital advertising, and optimizing search engine visibility.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop digital media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals.
  • Review success of campaigns and develop ways to improve.
  • Develop success metrics and monitor progress using web analytic tools.
  • Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business strategy.
  • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s digital strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage company blog, online newsroom and editorial calendar that aligns with social updates.
  • Maintain and monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.
  • Plan paid social media advertising strategies and budgets.
  • Secure new media partnerships.
  • Drive engagement with social media influencers to enhance the ABB brand in the United States.
  • Resolve customer issues through social media.
  • Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
  • Work closely with global teams to support a consistent online strategy.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of experience in social media management.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, Journalism, Digital Design.
  • Ability to identify digital leaders and influencers in key industries important to EL and the U.S. to expand the ABB reach and conversations.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to explain complex web traffic data in an understandable way.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of online advertising platforms.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms.
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects.
  • 10+ years’ experience in social media management.
  • Ability to create or edit digital content including video, photos, and graphics.
  • Experience in creating compelling business stories.
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot.
  • Experience managing outside vendors, excellent at building relationships.
